I wouldn't say there is visceral hatred at all times towards ugly men, but there is certainly an undercurrent of fear and "wanting the ugly man to go away" even though the ugly man has not hit on any females, not provoked or done nothing wrong.

The stereotype is that these men tend to lash out and commit acts of violence, that's where they become so detestable. Females and normie whiteknights blow up the worst examples of violence committed by a small pool of ugly men to represent ALL ugly men.

Statistically this is all bunk and the most criminal/anti-social element have no problem with women.... (if they are good looking men)
