k. basically the pacing is normal in season 1. it's also normal for like 5 episodes in season 2. then holy fuck lightning speed pacing, characters being yeeted like they never mattered (including my waifu kallen), and key subplots being wrapped up in less than an episode. very contrived too. still entertaining so whatever.
