(obviously I don't mean actually becoming trans or anything close..... pls don't ban me. XDD )
It would definitely increase your odds.
Companies would want to virtue signal their diversity and a lot have literal gender diversity quotas.
Being ugly I think would actually be an advantage here because companies could then say something like ''See?? We take in even the ugly trannies who don't even try to pass! We're so progressive and woke here! We're one big diverse family!!''.
