Shahryar is a fictional character from one thousand and one nights, a collection of folk tales known to be written by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdallah al-Farabi.
the work of literature is constructed in a way that has a main story line, and shahryar is the main character of that story.
Shahryar as told from the stories was a great persian sassanid king who ruled over a kingdom which extends from persia to india and includes lands of east asia like modern day china as well.
Shahryar had a brother named shah zaman who ruled over Samarkand, both were revered by everyone, whether within their empire's border, enemies courtiers and peasants a like, both were married. each had wives who loved them (or as they thought) and they stayed loyal to their wives, didn't have a harem, etc
that was all nice until one day shah zaman figures out his wife was cheating on him with a slave
(slaves in sassanid empire were mostly roman war captives, which reflect on the writer's conscious living in an islamic empire that was constantly battling with european empires in which captives from europe were becoming more common replacing niggeroids. worths to mention that arabs or any empire in general only came back with the cream of the crop as captives from the lands they conquered, whether men or toilets)
shah zaman becomes engulfed in rage and do some slicing work on both his wife and his slave, he makes the blackpill a full time job and decides to reside with his brother only to bust his older brother's wife with a kitchen boy, he had a sense and he was right.
likewise, his older brother shahryar does some slicing work on both, and then the emperor brothers took an atomic blackpill that changed their lives
they began marrying a woman each day and then murder those women after they dump the fresh load in their rotten puspus.
the writer of course wasn't blackpilled and courageous enough to keep the story that way and had to change the course of events ending the story with shahryar marrying his Minister's daughter shahrazad which changed his thoughts about women by reading him a tale each night
then shahryar also convinced his brother, shah zaman somehow, to stop the based act by reading him all the tales that shahrazad read to him
this for me is the greatest wasted potential of a literature work that I have ever came across to, we could've witnessed a great historical blackpilled tale which was also gigabased
props to shahryar and his brother for going in the act even if they didn't commit and became bluepilled in the end
