Girl. 1. A child or young person of either sex, a youth or maiden.

2. A female child; commoly applied to all young unmarried women.

See how both cases mention "maiden" and "unmarried"? It clearly hints at non-deflowered females, as much as it can in those puritanical times.

But now what do I see? Burgerland people genuinely believe that "girl" means "a young woman"! Even though "old girl" clearly refers to the state of her untouched vagina!
