Normies seem to have their own definition of "incel". They dont exactly use "incel" to refer to "loser males" who are virgin or experience hardship in sex / dating world. They mostly use "incel" on males who are anti-feminist and blame external forces (e.g. social structure, women with hypergamic traits) for the unfavourble sex / dating market conditions for modern men. But they never use "incel" to describe a male who "respects women's wishes", "believes he must improve his personality to become fit to be a woman's partner" and blames only themself for their failures in the sex / dating world, even if they're virgin
To be an "incel" by normie standards, you don't have to be a virgin or celibate for more than a year. You just have to not be cucked and not be pro-gynocentric about views on sex / dating. It's like a spectrum: From pure bluepilled simp / cuck on the far left, to pure blackpilled incel on the far right, while the redpill is around the middle
The
ones (pro-feminists and cucks) are the easiest for women to control. Women like control in their relationship and sex life, they like to have the edge in the power dynamic of their sexual relations. That's why women will never call the
ones "incel", even if the
one is virgin or multi-year celibacy. The
ones are also the most submissive to women. If they had the opportunity to, they would happily participate in open relationship where the female partner gets all the extra action. They would also not mind being a step-father to the children of a post-wall, ran-thru 304. They would also be content with letting the women dictate the times when they have sex, and they would let the woman peg them --- Women never call these
ones "incel", even if they're virgins or celibate for years
The
ones are basically a mix of
and
; they are a mix of cope and anti-feminist / anti-cucked ideas. But
-ers aren't exactly in the middle, it's a mixed area. Some
-ers may lean more towards the
side (e.g. PUA grifters), and some
-ers may lean more towards the
side (e.g. Fresh&Fit, Andrew Tate). Like
ones,
ones don't have a defeatist view about their sex / dating situation. But as women don't like men who don't submit to their wishes, they may call
-ers "incel" if they lean more to
side, even if the
-er has sex frequently
The
ones and
ones are most likely to be assertive & controlling or anti-submissive to women. They are the hardest to control in a relationship, and women don't like it when they don't have control. So they'll call anyone who's against the idea of "respecting women's wishes" as "incel", including non-celibate normies and Chads who are
or

Most people in Western society fall in the
and
section. For the misandrist, pro-gynocentric conditions of the sex / dating market to continue, women and
men must prevent a majority of men from falling into the
zone. Otherwise women will lose control of the sex / dating market situation, and either you'll see too many men go MGTOW & "check out" of dating market (or even society), OR you'll see too many men calling for retreat to a more patriachal standard of sex / dating. As part of their effort to prevent men from leaning to
side of spectrum, women will obviously stigmatize or insult men (including HTNs and Chads) who fall into the
or
zone (e.g. call them "misogynistic incel", anti-progressive, miserable & unpleasant to be around, "bad personality", "toxic personality")
