The quality of modern Nintendo hardware is abhorrent

Jfl. I decided to play my old switch today and was immediately greeted by drift on the pro controller and laggy burtons. Decided to look up the price of a new controller and $70 with the potential to mess up in a year. I know for a fact that if Nintendo cared about quality they would make sure drift was uncommon like with their past consoles. Yet it's so blatant they don't and retards still eat this shit up

That's why i don't see point in buying any of the shitty consoles. I have Gamesir xbox pad and it's drift free since it uses magnetic sensors nothing is physical they also use it for triggers (but they are kinda less sensitive than expected)

Yeah the best controller i ever had. However the triggers are pretty weird and go from 0 to 80% at the last 40% and it's pretty weird. Rest is great so i won't complain much there are drivers that can modify their triggers and even give you better response times (but last one is win11 only ) testing their app right now

... yeah I guess it probably is. But people often seem to confuse quality with technical superiority.

Often modern games can feel bloated, poorly designed, woke, or even just worse in 3D than 2D.

And yeah as you say the consoles can easily get worse too, in a similar way.

i stopped buying real xbox one controllers due to stick drift and just buy cheap knockoff ones for 20 and surprisingly they never drift only issue is that the buttons are stiff and DPAD feels weird

I've been thinking about buying a new one this year but this time I'll get a jailbroken one so I can play all of the games for free .

Yeah. I had to replace my controllers with 3rd party ones a little over a year ago. Unbelievable how cheap they are and how fast they shit the bed. All so Nintendo can make some money off their custies. Such a nasty move.

Use third party controllers at least you can use third party controllers on nintendo switch and every console controller cost 60 dollars now

I have Gamesir T4 Kaleid. Best controller I've ever owned. Hall effect sticks, all the buttons are quality, can program everything however you want. The software shown here isn't great, but gets the job done. And it was only $35.
