Note: The CURE for inceldom is ascension, but I am not talking about ascension per se.

I have read some philosophy slop about how the pursuit of knowledge (although they frame it as philosophical contemplation) trumps pleasure seeking activities that include companionship, marriage, sex, etc.

Since I am currently involuntary celibate, and likely will stay that way, unless a miracle happens, I am pondering giving this cope a try.

Where I literally find a way to go deep into a specific knowledge domain. Probably my college major (healthcare-related, pharmacy) and to get really good at what I do. However, it must have direction, meaning, and not just be busywork with no end in mind.

Or, I could broadly read and learn about everything from culture, music, relevant disciplines (like get knowledgeable about kinesiology, exercise science, nutrition) as well as history, politics, etc. and to differentiate myself intellectually.

But I am hesitant about actually investing all-in on this, because I could waste a lot of time only to find out it's a shitty cope.

What do you guys think?

Edit: IF you are doing this already, tell me what you are learning? And how did it help or not help?

I am being pragmatic here - If I won't ascend, and I am not gonna rope (I 99.99% will not rope, probably), I might as well live a happy life if I can do it, with good healthy copes. It's the best fallback plan incase I never manage to ascend.

What did you try to learn?
I am currently gymcelling (just started) and thinking about going deep into exercise science and nutrition.

It's cope for one reason only:
Let's say you attain the truth, what will happen/will you do after that?? The truth of everything only changes our perspective on the world but doesn't change our reality. You might get the ultimate cope, but it's still just a cope.
The reason it's an effective cope, is because it's literally physically impossible.
