So as people bitch about BF6 being the possible COD killer, there was a era were these games had major up times and down times. But so did the 2 consles such as the XBONE and PS4.
I think its best to start at the end of the PS2 era. Sony had a massive dildo of pride shoved up there ass when the PS2 became literally the best selling consle of all time. Wile my favorite shstem the DS was in 2nd place. Back on point, And XBOX was in its infancy.
Well when 7th gen came to come, Sony had a massive fucking ego with the Play Station and over charged the PS3 wile delivering all sorts of bullshit and legend has it the PS3 was origonalmy gonna be made wkth zero GPU as a attempt to make it hard for game devs to make the same game for both the PS3 and 360. So along with I think was a 600$ option and some other greedy fuck ups, the PS3 haf a shitty launch. But because Microsoft stayed humble, the Xbox 360 had a hell of a uprise. Though the end of both generation had a change as people relised the PS3 had free online play, wile XBOX still charged for online game until PS4 came out. But because of the 360S success, Microsoft sat on the pride dildo witch lead to 8th gen.
The XBONE was a shit show. 500$, forcfully bundled with the kinect, articles of the connect actually spying on people who buy it, and the XBON is online always even for single player games. Only redeeming quality was a mkre comfy controller with it wasnt much more comfy in my opinion. And if Im right XBONE made it a bitch to trade physical games. Not a problem with the ps4, and because of that the PS4 was more successful.
Point was that you should think abkut what your custumers want since they have a right to vote with there wallet. Now lets look at the whole COD vs BF shit show. When BF3 launched it gave COD some competition for the first time. When 2013 came, COD Ghosts has hit its first big flop(wont count BO declasifyed) and it gave EA a chance to strike hard at COD. Well that chance was shat on because BF4 launched with more bugs then my bathroom. And because of that BF4 had a flop on the first year. Thankfully BF4 became somthing fucking great.
Then 2016, COD didnt listen to the fans, and released Infinite warfare with was actually a good game but due to future burnout, no one wanted it. They sure as shit wanted MWR witch was probably CODs saftey net. But then BF1 was shown and people were on the COD is dead train... To be honest BF1 is a good game but it wasnt that fun for me. I still prefer BF4 and actually I kinda miss playing Hardline.
But then EA ignored the fans and went the SJW route and crammed in limbless foids in BF5. I never played BF5 outside of the beta but if I geuss its probably more fun then BF1. IDK. But the SJW bullshit kinda gave a flop.
Then MW19 came out. Even had ground war to try to strike Battlefeild and I was fucking hyped. Havnt had as much fun with any other cod shit as I did doing those night vision matches on multiplayer and ground was kinda a bit on the chaotic side. But then EA had to fuck up when there come back chance came with 2042. Instead of giving what the fans fucking wanted, they tryed to copy overwatch and fortknight. And geuss how 2042 did. The problem with 2042 wasnt the time line, it was the fact that it was a shell of battlefeild. It wasnt battlefeild, it was somthing the fuck else. It took a long ass time for basic feutures, the class system was fucked up, DICE didnt put in effort into making alot of maps. The game was basicly half assed. Because EA or DICE one of em didnt want to listen tk there fucking fans and rip off fortknight and overwatch. And when that didnt work instead of fixing the problem, they just tossed it in the trash after a couple of fucking hears. No passion no fucks to give.
BF6 is a cover up of EA and DICEs fuck up of 2042. Instead of solving a problem they just leave it there. Its a matter of time before 2042 gets the same treatment as Hardline in its current state. Infact Im willing to bet its actually getting that state. Im not saying boycot BF6, Ill probably get it if the games a month after release.
But what I am saying is that if EA fucks up there game, there probably not gonna fix it. And try to hype you for the next game. Be carefull who you trust. But also another point to anyone who wants to make a buissness. Listen to your custumers, your audience. Because its them who make you the money, not the custumers of a different brand. Dont apeal to a group different from your own.
