The outrage farming over the switch 2 has become pathetic

Not even just the price of games. Now apparently the price of the console is too expensive and evidence Nintendo is pure evil. How is $450-490 too expensive? The hardware is obviously higher quality than the switch and thus is more expensive to manufacturer. The switch 2 so far seems to be more powerful than the steam deck and is less expensive than the steam deck was at launch.


Personally I have no interest in the switch 2 as of now due to the mediocre battery life, however the claim that it's too expensive and Nintendo is being greedy in terms of pricing the console is hilarious.


Look at all these YouTubers spamming out videos acting as if the switch 2 being the same price as other consoles is somehow an act of class warfare

They could criticize how Mario Kart World looks like a mobile game or how Donkey Kong Banana gay sex looks like an asset flip, but noooo, instead they act as if a console being at an average price is somehow a massive social issue.

Anyone with common sense would buy the console, mod it, and pirate every single-player game they want to play for it, and only purchase games they want to play online anyway. So I can't take complaints about prices seriously whatsoever. Eventually gaming is going to be on a rental basis anyway, we're already seeing the first signs of this, it's almost entirely gone full digital. (and while there are valid criticisms to the way this has happened, like when companies say "you don't own digital games you buy, it's a license to be revoked at any time"...it's like they're trying to encourage piracy; the people who insist on physical media are idiots)

Don't buy one. Just buy a playstation,xbox or gaming PC and game for almost free.

Adjusted or NOT adjusted for inflation, games are cheaper than they have even been- as long as you stay away from Jewtendo since they charge up to $80 per game

You can easily game for a $10 monthly subscription onPC/Xbox game pass or PS+ and play games such as NG4, Death Loop, Forza, Ninja Gaiden 2 black, Far Cry, Diablo, Halo infinite, Doom The Dark Ages etc. on gamepass. I don't plan on buying ANY games this year unless gta 6 comes out. I will just play ng2 blk, ng4, overwatch 2, Doom the Dark Ages for free on my PC game pass.

Unless you are a complete retard who pays full price for all their games and don't know about PS+ or xbox/PC game pass or are willing to dish out hundreds if not THOUSANDS a year on $85 games w/ tax such as Mario Kindergarten Kart and Donkey Shit- games are cheaper than ever before.
