It has been a few years for me now, that I stopped enjoying most copes, I don't like anime, video games, movies, even forums like this one or others, but there is one thing that still calms me: going out in nature, walking through forests and swimming in lakes, to be far away from people that hate me, and that I hate back. I have been working a lot recently, but thankfully, my work sometimes takes me to places far away in the mountains, so I still get to see beautiful landscapes.

Anyway, I'm wondering if other users here enjoy the outdoors.
I think I remember @AsiaCel making a thread about hiking, but I'm not sure.

no, I only go to the store and work.

I do it sometimes but it's not much different from staying in my room.

Many people who live in more mountainous places like the one in your pic go hiking as a hobby. Those places are beautiful for everyone. The area where I am has its own kind of beauty too in my opinion and is no lesser than that, but people are less likely to go hiking or spend time in nature here.

Lots of species can be hunted here, but I think I will stay on small game like Rabbits, Hares, Foxes, it's less of a burden to take care of, I think.

does not work, there is a part of my brain that activates when i feel aimless and going nowhere, and it raises my anxiety, i feel less and less normal, like i'm about to just walk off into the wilderness and never come back

It's ok not to catch many fish, as long as you enjoy the time spent there. (better than rotting in my opinion)

Same, I moved to another place recently, far from the sea, and I haven't fish since.

No, I meant that in every place in the world going outdoors in nature is less common than in the mountains. I saw people who live in the Alps, everyone there and their mother had hiking as their hobby. I live in a normal countryside and I like it a lot. And I would also like a desert.

I don't really like flat countryside because it's often just fields, fields everywhere. Very repetitive.
But maybe it's not like that everywhere.
