If I proposed a type of competition, in which the success of the participants are largely down to two factors
1. Genetic potential
2. Wealth of the indivdiual and their country's ability (national wealth) to provide quality of training
I would be labelled an eugenic Nazi.
But this is precisely what the Olympics and other competition events are; it does not matter if you limit people to categories like being wheelchair-bound or weight classes, the core idea is that you are still trying to see who has the superior genetics (ableist) and training (classist) within that group.
Sports culture celebrate winners more than losers; winning is consistently tied to genetics and wealth with a clear pattern.
Acknowledgment of advantages of the winners would be celebrating supremacy in the field of winning.
NBA is racial supremacy sport that favors the black body.
