Hair transplants work by taking hair from the NW7 zone:

For transplants to be successful, you need to have stopped your current hair loss with meds like fin/dut/minox. If you don't stop the loss, the rest of the top of the head will continue to go bald behind the transplants.
Additionally, you need to stop the loss early, as there is only so much NW7 hair, and you can only transplant so much area.
JB has been balding at least 2-3 years now and he hasn't stopped it. Either he isn't taking the drugs or they're not working.
Transplants also can only create about 50% of natural density, so while they can LOOK natural in good cases, they will never match your true natural hair.
