Joaquin Phoenix is a MTN at worst. Even in Whatever (1999), the director casted a normie looking guy as Tisserand, even though in the novel he was described as a literal trucel who scared women away with his looks. The truth is that normies (aka 90% of the audience) just can't relate with incels, they see them as repulsive monsters
