Whenever you see someone of a specific race being insulted, they usually don’t even bother to actually make fun of the person themselves. But rather, they mock them for a caricature of the person’s race.
This seems pretty obvious, as a Jew being mocked for being a rich greedy nepotist doesn’t make much sense if the Jew being mocked is poor and isn’t greedy, but it doesn’t matter because the insult is supposed to be dehumanizing and see you as a part of a group rather than an individual (many tribalists -mostly ethnics - dehumanize themselves when they have no value for individualism, but that’s a discussion for another day).
Now this doesn’t seem like it’s focuses specifically on their looks, but rather a behaviour. But really, this does infinitely less damage than being caricaturized as this:
The fact the representation of Jews is so ugly is why it is infinitely more damaging than people criticizing actual Jew behaviour.
The same is true of other races. If you called a middle eastern person online they are evil terrorists, an indian they are cow poo eaters, whites they are cucks, blacks they chimp out over anything, or spics they are greasy wetbacks, they will of course be insulted by it even if these things do not apply to them at all.
But what is infinitely more brutal is when you say something, and they reply with one of these.
