A lot of people try to get on these expensive weight-loss programs with the intent on losing weight. But the thing is, the majority of the time you never follow through with the program and you end up wasting a shit ton of money. The reason is simple: people are lazy, and for the most part we're allergic to any form of hard work, but don't worry, there's a way that you can start losing weight and it's easy as hell. I did it myself and lost 12 pounds in the span of about 2 weeks.
TL;DR: Stop eating foods that you enjoy because the dopamine released will incentives you to eat copious amounts. Once you start eating with the thought of survival and not pleasure increase your activity slightly and reduce your eating to around 1,600 --> 2000 calories.

The average person burns about 1,600 to 2,400 calories a day. This is how much they burn without doing any strenuous activities or gymmaxxing shit. This is passive weight-loss spurned by your regular bodily functions/minimal exercise from day-to-day tasks.
If you're supposed to eat 3,000 calories a day then that means you passively gain 1,400 -> 600 calories a day (assuming you eat the recommended amount) or about 14 pounds a month if you're on the lowest end of physical activity and the highest on eating (which you probably are if you are an obessecel)
This means that if we reduce our caloric intake without changing our activity levels we can make significant improvements. But how do you stop eating so much? Simple. Most obese people don't just eat because they need to. Your body doesn't need too much food to run properly. Most obese people eat for their own enjoyment, not out of necessity. Meaning the answer is obvious;
STOP TRYING TO ENJOY FOOD. Don't eat very nice meals, just keep your meals average to slightly bellow average so they're edible. You're body will not enjoy the food and so the dopamine incentive to over-eat isn't there. You'll start thinking of your meals as a form of survival not enjoyment and you'll only eat as much as you absolutely need to. You can increase your activity for the best results but you don't have to by too much.
It might be hard at first but if you stop coping through food the changes will be noticeable pretty quick.
