The mirror is either life fuel or suicide fuel

Sometimes I look great in the mirror, like a Chadlite, other times I look completely subhuman and nerdic.

I feel like certain mirrors are better at frauding the way we look. Maybe it's the quality of the glass, I'm not sure.

Ever since I started browsing looks forums, however, I have been looking in the mirror a ton more.

What do you guys think?

Mirror makes you look better because you're used to your mirrored image and subconsciously pose in favourable angles. Photos make you look worse because of some camera lense shit (just google it, don't remember the details). Either way it doesn't matter. What matters is how other people perceive your appearance in real life. And if you're on this site you know what the answer to that question is.

It's the lighting. Shit lighting = look worse than you do normally; good lighting = how you look under good lighting (mirrored of course).

Take a mirror outside on a sunny day and that's how you look like to everyone else during the day (mirrored).

Good lighting = low, overhead. The type of lighting you'll see at a bar. When I say good, I don't mean strong.

I look so much better in the mirror than on camera. My eyes appear to be a lighter shade of green and my midface seems normal.

On front cam, if I put it too close my midface looks long and if I put it too far my eyes appear to be a much darker shade of green than they actually are

Front cam distorts. You have narrow face, which looks even narrower when distorted. The only ones love the front camera are fat girls who angle fraud.
