When I rarely use reddit, I find myself opening the comment section to a bunch of vague, snarky comments. I personally believe it's redditards trying to sound intelligent. They have just enough surface level knowledge or vocabulary to string together impressive sounding sentences, but not enough depth to actually communicate clearly or helpfully, just jargon heavy replies that attempt to look smart over being useful.
To articulate this better I’ll use a real world example that always gets me mad.
So when you are trying to explain something to someone, lets say for example how to fix your friends car, you should ensure the person you are explaining it to actually understands.
What you should do:
“Okay so you see this part right here? This is called (Insert name) it does this, you can always remember it with this little trick i’ll show you.”
What a midwit will do:
“Yeah this is the flux capacitor its the most important thing in the car.. ANYWAYS lets move onto this other thing that I will also not explain to you at all, (insert big words for no reason in an attempt to impress you and inflate my ego blah blah blah blah)”.

This issue obviously isn't exclusive to reddit, it happens fucking everywhere and makes me so angry, this is why niggas feel threatened by AI because it levels the playing field and also makes their "intelligent status" meaningless!
