A movie about an "ugly" ogre who saves the princess who eventually falls in love with him despite that dooming her to forever be an ugly ogre herself because shrek has such a good personality should at the very least be a movie that's core message is that substance is more important than appearance when it comes to love but it completely undermines that with a villain that is literally an ugly manlet that is literally forcing the princess to marry him.
Lord Farquaad is a selfish douchebag and all they had to do was make him a handsome chad if they wanted to be consistent in their messaging but because they had such a hatred for this guy who apparently was based off of on their old bosses they ended up making a movie that is quite blackpilled, Shrek despite being an ogre is built like a chad and we don't even have to speculate what he would look like as a human because in the sequel Shrek 2 he literally does become a human who quite literally looks like a chad.
The guy mogs Farquaad into oblivion, Not only is he like 6'5 but he also facemogs the guy so badly that it wouldn't even matter if Farquaad was the exact same height as him, It's funny because they finally got the finally the villain right for the bluepilled message they were trying to send with this movie with prince charming only for them to make Shrek as human mog him too. Yea sure in the end they both become ogres again but that doesn't change the fact that he's ogre-chad which they ended up revealing by making human shrek a chad. If they make human shrek ugly then the message works but since he's not it doesn't and the 2 movies end up being quite blackpilled.
