Same here. Parents would not let me have a real smartphone until end of Junior year/summer before senior year. It was gigacope for me to think that I would no longer be an outsider and would finally be apart of the "popular crowd". used to get excited thinking I'd be added to the mass group chats my high school had to talk shit about other people.
