I personally disagreed with him on a lot of stuff. I really thought he was an idiot, honestly. But he didn't deserve getting murdered like that. Nobody can say for certain what the shooter's motives were, but it's incredibly likely that it was a liberal—and that brings me to my point I want to make.

• Be extremely wary about revealing any information that could be considered personal, or that someone could use in a larger "breadcrumb" trail to deduce who you are.
• Never use Linkedin or anything else that requires you to post your full name and personal details about yourself.
• Use different passwords for everything. It's not even about being hacked, any database breach could lead to people figuring out connections between your accounts on different sites.
• By that same logic, start using multiple emails. Diversify what emails you use for what. Make one for your personal life pursuits, one for gaming, one for social media, etc..
• Get a VPN. Your IP being leaked to someone could genuinely be catastrophic. I personally suggest Mullvad, which has fair prices and doesn't demand you pay annually, but it's up to you. Use it 24/7.

There are also many other great tips, all of which I can't think of at this moment, since this whole situation has me feeling rather dazed. I suggest other posts by people who are far better than I in this stuff, since I only had started this a few months ago when Ado fans had attempted to dox me and leak who I was. Some other great threads include @ordinaryotaku's, who goes more into depth about the topic at hand.
