I learned this from my grandfather. We don't trust banks. Crypto/stocks market fluctuates too much to make a decent return from. Gold was and will always be the best option.

Silver too. Silver is significantly less worth though. It would be wiser to invest in gold.

I dont hold much physical anymore. Its a pain both buying especially selling. Doing taxes on it is also a headache.
