I’ve never forgotten.

I went to the park to touch grass. I sat down on a bench with my juice box. I peeked in kindergarten and stayed there emotionally.

A human sat on the other end of the bench. I tried to act normal, but wasn’t sure how.

Slide 1: Say hi.
Slide 2: Don’t say hi, she’s reading.
Slide 3: You’re breathing weird. Stop breathing weird.

Then, as I went to take a casual sip of my juice box, the straw exploded. An orange geyser shot directly onto my shirt, and somehow onto her book.

She looked at me. I looked at her. I blurted out:

“This is not a usual event for me.”

Which made it sound like it was a usual event for me. She got up and left. She would have cleaned me up if I were Chad.

hyperfixated if you just relax. it will be fine. its second-hand embarassment. the embarssment from that event. you were like 7 or something, but the human brain brings it up now. what an marvel it is lmao.
