The hardest thing to acknowledge about your existence is that no one cares whether you live or die.
I used to cope to myself saying "When I commit suicide, that'll show them! They'll realise how mean they were to me and they'll be so sad about it, right?"
"When I get older and become rich, that'll show them, right?"
But the truth is that no one would care. Whether alive or dead, your existence makes no difference to anyone on this planet. No one cares about your achievements, your goals or your ambitions. No one cares about your pain, your loneliness or your mental health. And no one would care if you were to end your life today.
