In my anecdotal experience I see that those with really good social skills tend to be the ones who think the least. Obviously excluding good looking people, those who tend to have a lot of friends (speaking for men at least), are those who are either completely npc normie tier or those without an inner monologue. A great example of this are Hispanics, whose whole culture centers around family and community. Being extroverted and extremely over socialized. But anyone who deals with these people will tell you that run off of pure impulse and don’t put any thought into their interactions. I believe this is cause being social requires low cognitive effort and a lot of intuition. Things like wondering how long to keep eye contact with someone or where is the acceptable distance to be able to greet someone will bog you down and make you to neurotic to talk to people. Which fucks over the legit critical thinkers because they will actual second guess themselves to death. The curse of intelligence strikes again.
