Just think about it, even when you have solved every issue you ever had, or applied some form of apathetic nihilism to relief the pain, there's always gotta be that thought that is nagging you.
It doesn't matter how perfect a moment in your life is, there's always gotta be that one thought that can turn your day from heaven to hell. And it doesn't even matter how ridiculous and outright absurd that thought is. It will still bother you.
For example, once I heard from my former theRAPIST that she had this patient where everytime she went to the church, she had this extreme anxiety that this statue of Jesus will come out and have sex with her.
I am not even joking, that is the most absurd shit I ever heard and yet knowing how OCD is, it might be true. So anyways because of that ridiculous thought she formed some form of phobia of comming to the church. So she had to do these sessions with my former psychologist to combat this fear of the church.
The point is that no matter how well your life is, to the point that your brain can't think of any serious bad thing that will happen to you, it is wired to create problems for you, no matter how absurd.
This fact alone that our bodies are made to make us suffer should make even philosophers and theologians think about it.
