Theory The fact that our brains are wired to create problems when there are none makes it all more likely we live in a prison planet.

Just think about it, even when you have solved every issue you ever had, or applied some form of apathetic nihilism to relief the pain, there's always gotta be that thought that is nagging you.

It doesn't matter how perfect a moment in your life is, there's always gotta be that one thought that can turn your day from heaven to hell. And it doesn't even matter how ridiculous and outright absurd that thought is. It will still bother you.

For example, once I heard from my former theRAPIST that she had this patient where everytime she went to the church, she had this extreme anxiety that this statue of Jesus will come out and have sex with her. :lul:

I am not even joking, that is the most absurd shit I ever heard and yet knowing how OCD is, it might be true. So anyways because of that ridiculous thought she formed some form of phobia of comming to the church. So she had to do these sessions with my former psychologist to combat this fear of the church.

The point is that no matter how well your life is, to the point that your brain can't think of any serious bad thing that will happen to you, it is wired to create problems for you, no matter how absurd.

This fact alone that our bodies are made to make us suffer should make even philosophers and theologians think about it. :feelstrash:

Suffering is the fuel of life

Suffering makes even the most willful dysfunctional.

Without suffering there would be no striving cels just suffer perpetually due to their condition

"without suffering there will be no striving :feelstastyman:" one of the oldest copes in the book.

If you already face a difficult task, what's the fucking point for you to suffer in the way? It's literally the number 1 obstacle you have to look out for. It pointlessly drains the spirit that you need towards your goals.

It's a cope that perfectly content organisms would just go extinct? You're the coping gnostic

suffering is life and life is suffering. This suffering makes us strive to achieve a state of non suffering — which is an eternal battle.

By all means, go ahead, cut off your legs and put salt in the wounds so you can truly live, you fucking christcuck. :feelshaha:

There was no point for suffering to happen to begin with if its purpose is to basically stop itself. Your way of reasoning is cyclical.

the demiurge is just your abusive parents or something isn't it

Ban gnosticism for foid worship NOW

Whatever, honestly the fact that the brain is wired this way reveals nature's poor craftsmanship. I understand that pain is necessary to alert the organism that something is not right, but the fact that the brain is designed to create its own problems, honestly I don't think that is evolutionary.

Suffering is a tricky thing. If you don't experience any in life, there's no way in hell you're gonna empathize with people who have gone through it. And like any other form of pain, it teaches you not to stick your hand in the fire.
But here's the flipside. It's possible to get addicted to it.

Suffering unfortunately need to exist

Suffering is the core of existence. We are built upon feeding into suffering for it to exude out it's bearings to our brain that feeds on extreme emotions to survive

We are animals with the capability to form thoughts. I know i sound like an edgy faggot but I belive that's the truth

For example, once I heard from my former theRAPIST that she had this patient where everytime she went to the church, she had this extreme anxiety that this statue of Jesus will come out and have sex with her. :lul:
This is your "client confidentiality" JFL. Therapists are no different than to normies. They will gossip and leak all of your information to others because they feel like it.

Not "poor craftsmanship", evolution just selects for traits that ensure long term survival and reproduction at the cost of happiness. Evolution has selected for frequent suffering, constant discontentment, and rare satisfaction, as that likely ensured the survival of many of our ancestors. An easily content animal is far less likely to take actions to further improve its survival chances than one that is constantly dissatisfied with its situation.

But that state of non suffering can never be attained.

There is always a problem because either our bodies nor our decisions and actions are perfect.

You could argue then that we can and will improve, as in, evolve, but why the imperfect state of existence in the first place?

This existence is either punishment and or a means to cause us suffering which create negative emotions which could act as a source of food for some beings.

Or maybe they do not just thrive on negative emotions alone but also on positive emotions because both are great sources of energy.
So either way, we are trapped.

It looks like people are truly addicted to their suffering.

Correct. It's like they want us to believe that if you want to be a good guy, you have to accept constant suffering.

I don't have to suffer while doing good. I could be smart about it and get both.

My father is super addicted to suffering. He constantly watches politics, complains, rages, gets super riled up, can't do shit about it and simply suffers for several hours, every, single, fucking day.
