The evil man is one who has discovered valuable information but refuses to share it with the public; a man who keeps everyone else in the dark for his own personal gain.

This man may have theories about society and its citizens, but he will not speak them openly; he will not try to convince others of his thoughts.

Instead he hides his ideas, taking from the public all of the information they have to offer him while keeping his own discoveries private.

The man who acts like this is truly an evil man indeed.

The mathematicians of antiquity are evil for withholding their discoveries and theories from public scrutiny. Civilasations are evil for sparing their rivals the knowledge of their advantageous inventions.

Evil is a deliberate ploy then.

Instead he hides his ideas, taking from the public all of the information they have to offer him while keeping his own discoveries private.

The internalization of man is more of a travesty begotten out of emotional turmoil, his fear and resentment compel him to mask his adverse opinions and sentiments. Those who simply disdain others will do so with earnest openness; however, this internalization is a conspiracy against oneself. I don't think that's evil, just delusional.

Evil is not perverted, the conception of evil was. The jews conceived the idea of good and evil in a 2000 year old book they entitled The Torah. Today we know it as The Bible.

If the Jews decided to withhold their conception of evil, then by your definition of the evil man, are they not justified in conceiving evil? Hypocrisy is an expedient  defense, but decency and justice are fundamental in the inquiry of truth.
