It starts off as knowing what everyone else knows, then it progresses into edgier “less known” facts. But how do these ideas and thoughts that are passed down shape us differently?

What if we all thought differently and had our own separate ideas entirely? Then that would mean we all know something different, that the other person knows. But it gets passed on and we interpret the world differently.

Do thoughts and ideas really make you? Or are we just repeating shared info as a way to amplify our lives? And it seems the more certain information is shared, the less valuable it is

We all share a core human nature, because what is good for one human is good for all the other humans too, with marginal differences based on what environment your ancestors inhabited. So there are things that all humans intuitively know on some level, because if they didn't, their ancestors would've died. These are usually some simple traits, like recognizing that you should avoid anything that causes you pain, or spit out anything that tastes bitter.

I don't like to seek out esoteric information, because it is typically unnecessarily complex. Everything in this world should be simple and logical. If the information is complex, it's usually because the person that came up with it was trying too hard to be original. And the people that regurgitate that information usually don't understand it, but pretend like they do so as to not seem dumb.

It's like when people talk about the soul, energy, or vibrations. They spout some vague shit, and when asked simple questions like "How do you quantify energy? What does it look like? What does it feel like?", they spout some even more vague shit. Their "esoteric knowledge" banks on them not being able to grasp it, so it is essentially meaningless.
