This is the problem with a globalized world. People get confused. Diaspora people have identity issues. They are Turks, Arabs... but are born in Europe. I went through this struggle as well. The state will tell you to assimilate but your friends will make fun of you for doing so. Fellow Turks made fun of me for speaking perfect German and lacking Turkish skills. In the end we all have to decide who we are and what we will do.Ah ok yeah
