This is something that I have noticed for a while. There have been more and more incel characters in mainstream media but almost none of them have been portrayed as truly sympathetic or even noble. With the exception of Ken from the Barbie movie, who is still the technically the antagonist, most of these characters are either villains or just punching bags. The best example is Joker 2. Arthur in the first film becomes this strong fearless leader of all of Gothams downtrodden. He is a symbol of strength for incel, no matter what the filmmakers think. The director saw the Joker being used as an icon for low status men and needed to take him down. That’s why in the sequel they turn him into a complete weakling. He loses all the confidence he had from killing Murray and standing up for himself and reverts him into a a low T retard. This is to deter the very people who find naturally see themselves in the character. You didn’t see this in movies like 40 year old virgin. You actually are made to sympathize with Steve carrells character and he’s allowed to get a happy ending. Thing were different then since by in large incel didn’t exist then like how they do now. Those in power are shitting themselves cause they know a collapse is incoming.
