Yes so that means they’ve been saying the world was gonna end for nearly a century now

They weren't saying the world was going to end, they were gauging the likelihood of the world ending. In 1947 they weren't saying "The world is going to end on such and such date." They were saying "Based on this level of nuclear proliferation we stand '7 Minutes' worth of likelihood of the world ending."

Fucking stupid is what I think.

Those assholes have no greater knowledge than any of us when and if the world is going to end in a nuclear war/someother doomsday styled catastrophe.
