Ok but your sentence still makes no sense. I know very little about medicine but obviously, autism is not the consequence of proteins being wrongly built in the body. The neurotransmitters themselves are probably totally fine, I'd assume it would not be too hard to analyze that and people would have done that if it was this easy.
The issue is more that the neurotransmitters are not regulated properly or what is even more likely is that the whole hardwiring of the brain is different in people with autism compared to how it is in neurotypicals. And that is genetic, but the mechanism is way more complex. It is thought that autism is sometimes the result of a gene deletion/duplication/inversion that already happened in the egg cell or in the sperm cell even before conception. So basically it was over before I was born, actually even before I was conceived.

Proteins are coded by genes, if you have mutations at genes, the proteins will be truncated. That probably causes the bad regulation of neurotransmitters and/or the different morphology or brain / connections between neurons.

I don't want to downplay genetics as that's against the blackpill, but life can even fuck up some chads.

For example, David Beinoff, writer on the Game of Thrones show, has Chad genes and had the literal head of Goldman Sachs as his father. Despite that, he was bullied and treated badly his entire childhood until he hit a growth spurt in his LATE teens.

Autism is in your genetics but to a different potency for each person & then there are environmental triggers that can activate it or skip by it.

If you have smooth sailing you may be OK but a lot of early trauma could activate it so to speak or you're a carrier but your kid gets the NT parents set of genetics allowing them to be NT but they still carry the gene which could pop up again in their kid thanks to parent/grandparent genes.
