I don't think anything will happen. Even as much as we look at the Taliban on here they make up such a small percentage of Muslims that I don't think there will be any sort of massive pushback against the increasingly liberal leaning world order. Islam is liberalizing and secularizing at rates perhaps even faster than Christianity, although it is also growing faster than Christianity. Both Islam and Christianiy are outpaced largely by Atheism and Agnosticism and Spirituality, which are essentially not organized religions.

The Overton Window has shifted so far it would take mass civilzaitional collapse to shift it back into its proper place.
