Damn. Compared to the US v China one, this is overall more brutal for India than that one was for China.

That one also had things which weren't cheaper enough in China to make it as affordable for them as it was for Americans, but there were also things that were more expensive in the US than in China even taking the income difference into account, and overall it all trended pretty close to the 4:1 difference in median salaries. In this one, things are more likely to be cheaper in India, but not to the 2.5:1 difference in salaries, so overall they are just less affordable there, and there are only two things max which are more expensive in China even after adjusting for the different salaries.

Why milk so expensive in china

Why milk so expensive in china
Milk isn't really traditionally consumed there by the majority of the population (it absolutely is by certain ethnic minorities in the country) so the supply of it is far lower, same reason why pork is more expensive in Muslim countries.

Jeets also have A2 milk which is superior.

Indians don't really care for a lot of the things listed, other than rich urban fags. Basic necessities have historically always been cheap in India, like food and transportation.

There's no market for it so the few that put it in the market drive up prices for it
Chinese people are simply lactose intolerant. If a Chinese person with lactose intolerance drinks milk, they will experience diarrhea and feel unwell.

This is because they had no milk market thus the lactase never developed

Why milk so expensive in china
80% of Asians are intolerant to milk and they have no enzyme to process alcohol, so they get drunk very quickly. One bottle of vodka for a Chinese is equivalent to three bottles of vodka for a European.

I am much more surprised by the low cost of Chinese beer than by other comparisons.
