The concept of heaven doesn't even make sense to me

How would you spend an eternity in a place like that and not get bored?

Even if time were to work different eventually everything would get dull because there would be no purpose to any of it.

You could have it all and you would end up still craving a meaning.

If it's like earth where the pleasure is only temporary anyways it wouldn't really be heaven.

But if the pleasure is all there is then why would you even do anything in the first place to seek it out?

Would you even have a body in heaven? Or would it just be the spirit existing as is?

Really I find that there are only more questions then answers to these things. The longer I think about it the more absurd it becomes.

I don't feel like that's the case though because even though we are animals right now we still have the desire to not want to be animals.

The Islamic viewpoint in particular looks at heaven and hell extended purgatories that eventually combine once the universe's plan is unfolded to be rejoined again to repeat the cycle, which is pretty strongly in line with what we know about heat death
