Sooner, or later, every multiplayer game is destroyed by cheaters.

When the game first comes out, there are few cheaters.
This small group of cheaters kicks the shit out of all the honest players.
So, some of these honest players get frustrated and start cheating too.
Now, this larger group of cheaters dominates the game.
So, even more players start cheating just to be able to compete.
The honest players, who refuse to cheat, just quit playing the game.
Now, all you have left is cheaters.

Edit: At a certain point, the developers don’t even want to fix the cheating problem.
If they got rid of the cheaters……they would essentially destroy their game…..by banning most of the players.
Happens every time, with every multiplayer game.

I meant cycle as in it repeats itself when a new game comes out.

But, maybe I am not using the correct word, I don’t know.

Some get overrun by cheaters and in others thats just what 1000s of hours of playtime looks like, they arent even playing they are just using muscle memory lmao

More reasons to not play any form of multiplayer

never understood why people would play multiplayer
Normies don't like being alone, not even when playing videogames and they find more "value" in beating a real person than an AI
It just show how pathetic and insecure normies truly are
friends to play with
Normies have to play with randoms because their friends don't care about their game JFL

That's neijuan in a nutshell.

It's bad enough to you have to deal with turbo-tryhards with 1000+ hours who play even casual unranked games like a cash prize is on the line. But you're also up against blatant cheaters. Aimbotters and hallhacking in first person shooters, macros to do combos in fighting games, it's all so tiresome. All the "anti-cheat software" built into games don't do shit.

Some people are slick with it too, like they'll toggle their aimbot on and off, or they'll use wallhacks but they'll throw a round so they don't look too sus. But some just blatantly cheat the whole game though. It's especially frustrating when someone on the other team is blatantly cheating, you report them, and then a couple days later you get matched up against them again.

I used to play TF2 waaaay back in the day, and even back then you had a lot of cheaters. You could kick players from your team via vote if you thought they were cheating (or for whatever reason you wanted) but like half of the time the other team would refuse to do so. Probably the most casual FPS ever made and you still had this bullshit even back then. It was still a fun game overall, but one of the reasons I stopped playing was cheaters were getting more and more common.

Tryhards and cheaters are the main reason I stopped playing games online altogether. It's sad that something that's supposed to be fun and a form of escapism was ruined by neijuan. I can understand being a turbo-tryhard or cheater to get ahead in academia, the workplace, the dating scene, etc. but to cheat so you can win an unranked casual game? Fucking pathetic.

Same for me in CS:GO/CS2.

Used to clock in 20+ hours a week on CS:GO until CS2 came out. Shit went from a cheating frenzy (though you can still get games with legits in them) to borderline unplayable (closet cheaters literally every game). It's also the influx of Cluster B personality disorder zoomers causing this.

Im thinking of buying a dma card just to use the esp and aimbot from time to time against the russian faggots who use the cheats to grief

its frustrating
this is why we cant have good things
somali IQ normgroids will pop some cheats and prevent the game from existing for himself and everyone in the lobby
wtf do u gain from cheating in a video game

Correct and it's happening to Deadlock now as well since it's the new game on the block and it's not even out yet.
