One of the worst things that happened to me at school was being called a creep, because I always knew it is just a synonym for unattractive/undesirable.

If I am standing alone not speaking to anyone this is "creepy" - if Chad does this foids call it "shy" and think it's "cute".

and conversely, if the "creep" TRIES to speak up or be confident, he is seen as impatient and rude, rather than dominant and alpha (which is how Chad is viewed even if nothing else changes and he says exactly the same thing as the incel)
