as we got older, in middle school and high school, it was social exclusion and outcasting

in college, it was completely ignoring your existence

and as adults, it's making fun of us for not being able to find girlfriends, then sneakily turning around and saying "it's your personality", but then they'll turn the other way and say "why do you deserve an 8 when you're a 3"
