The best thing about America is the stock market (thanks Apple, Amazon, Google, Tesla, Nvidia, Facebook, Microsoft). The stock market here has very dependable huge gains over very long time frames (20-100+ years). It's probably the best stock market in the world in that regard.

Everything else here is better (or at least as good) in other first-world developed countries, especially overall quality of life and happiness of citizens. Some things are better in third-world countries (the violent crime rate, for example). Although to be fair, we don't have hate speech laws like Canada or the UK (yet).

But when the U.S. market goes down, the rest of the world's markets go down even more. The old saying is "When the U.S. catches a cold, the rest of the world sneezes." The rest of the world sees the U.S. market as basically a safe haven during crises like 2008 or Covid.

Also look at median salaries.

Americans earn more than any other nation besides 1 tiny European nation, even though 35% of the population are niggers, non-white hispanics and native American. Pretty impressive actually.

In UK the median salary it around 27,000 while its around 49,000 in the USA. Yeah you get free healthcare, but I would not be able to live on that personally. It all depends on the person.
