I use to have a longish viking style beard, but now this barber cut it really short so my weak chin is showing.

Tfw have to stay inside for 2 weeks until beard grows out.

Tfw your beard looks like shit and patchy when it finally grows long at your chin

Yeah this happens to me too, except I trim it myself. If I trim it too much I can't go outside anymore

Yeah this is a nightmare. I do this with my mustache all the time. Best to trim very infrequntly. Lighting plays serious tricks on your perception of your facial hair or hair in general. If it's reasonably filled out it's best to leave it alone. Trimming does not necessarily make it more symmetrical or even cleaner looking.
