I remember when I was a kid I was really attached to gaming and playing on my GBA and my DS, took it too seriously and used to rage a lot when I lose. Now that I'm older, I don't care about gaming anymore. I still play old retrogames for fun but I wouldn't waste my time on it.
It's funny how much we have to entertain ourselves in modern life. People thousands of years ago didn't live with video games and they didn't feel deprived for not having modern technology, because they were more engaged in hunting for food and do sports with each other irl.
