Hong Kong Phooey. A Hanna-Barbera cartoon from 1974. Basically, an anthropomorphic dog who works as a janitor at a police station. He thinks he's very good at martial arts (kung fu) because he has a secret book, but the truth is that he's very naive and clueless. There is a cat named Spot who is the one who actually solves the cases, but he doesn't realize it (like Inspector Gadget's niece). He thinks he is the hero thanks to his kung fu and that he solved the police case. The first episodes are very good, but it declines because it becomes repetitive. It only had 15 episodes, although they were double episodes. I feel represented in the clumsy, dreamer (since I was a child I have imagined doing something great and people admire me), innocent, deluded, wannabe, with a precarious job, and in that someone always has to help me because I can't solve anything.
