Nintendo has officially confirmed this. This means that they know how to fix drift but won't because they're likely making a shit ton of money on people buying new joycons.
 
Ofc it won't they are yellow jews. It also doesn't have SSD so load speeds are 4x slower than on Steam Deck and even basic 5 years old Ps5 pro has one. Ofc everyones pcs, laptops and handhelds also have SSD. Nintendo is always 10 years behind, they invested all their money on the brand new more powerful AMD chip to catch up and beat Steam Deck, but forget about every single thing that made that handheld great is not present with Switch 2, and even tho Deck doesn't have Hall Effect sticks you can easily replace them for just $30, while Shittendo will force you to spend $100 if not more :feelshaha:

Technically Nintendo will replace them for you. They started doing it after getting in legal trouble if I remember right. But it'll cost $30-50 shipping. Most normies don't bother and instead just buy new ones.

Nintendo has always been incompetent with hardware unfortunately. They'll excel in one form, and then make a major mistake in another. If I remember right Wii u had terrible CPU despite having great GPU. At least they'll be able to run third party games now. Albeit potato quality with horrible loading times and fps.

They should be thankful that AMD is making CPU+GPU combo for them otherwise we would see another disaster. Loading times will be dreadful (still better than ultra dreadful loading times of switch 2), performance would be better than deck but locking games on certain framerates like 30fps even tho they could run it at 40fps or 50fps is pretty shitty, with dlss they could probably crank Elden Ring into 60fps but they don't want that since it will occasionally drop below that.

Switch 2 is locking frame rates? It seems more third party companies are doing that and it's not Nintendo's fault. Nintendo seems to be focusing on frame rate this generation, albeit in exchange for games looking like shitty mobile Chinese bootlegs.

They should include a performance mode like they do on PlayStation 5 and Xbox series x games. Maybe they assume switch owners are too retarded for that

Hah, joke's on you. Proper framepacing is more important for fluid gameplay than just as high of a framerate as possible.

A perfect rxample of this is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

While it runs with proper framepacing at 30 and 60 fps on PC it fails to do so on consoles, although consoles should be able to run it at the respective settings with ease.

Even the Series X and PS5 have these issues. It has to do with the console versions themselves.

While we do get constatnt 30 fps on every console we don't get consistent frame timings.
So although we havd no framedrops we experience stutters.

I used to play GTA V at just 28 fps because that was the lowest my PC would drop to. I just set it to 28 and it was a smooth experience.

Before that I played it with an unlocked framerate and it was all over the place.

Very tiring to play this way.

Honestly, the whole performance vs fidelity mode is a horrible idea and of course fucking zoomers would eat that shit up.

Consoles were always all about simplicity.

Just plug'n'play.

If I wanted to tinker with all kinds of settings, I'd have just sticked to my PC.

What's wrong with having options? Some games are hard to play with a low frame rate.

Just look at ModernVintageGamer's compilation of impossible ports and get an idea of what is possible if not just the hunt for profit, but also passion is involved.

Ever since developer studios started paalrticipating in the stock market by offering company shares, games slowly went to shit.

I have a co-worker who explained to be who Blackrock and Vanguard are and what they do and how they do it.

The reason why our games are so fucked is also because of mindless shareholders who just more higher dividents.

That's one outliner that is not real for 99% of the games, with platformers you want consistency so framerate is not as important for gameplay as frame pacing. Elden Ring will always feel better to play at 50-60fps than shitty 30fps, how about Bloodborne people always complain how unresponsive are 30fps. Shooters are always better at higher framerate, sports game too, racing games too, mmorpgs too, rpgs too, even visual novels are better at above 30fps.

Just because you had shit pc doesn't mean unlocking framerate is bad. If anything uncapped framerate on mid end pc that you should have anyway will always result in great frame pacing and lowest possible input lag (144fps or above).
