We still have the whole of August ahead of us. It can bring extreme heat; some records have already been broken in this month. And even the first half of September sometimes still offers temperatures around 30°C.
Summer is far from over. After the current somewhat more moderate phase, I expect the heat to return in August.
It's the same as saying winter is already over by the end of January. Yet there are often strong cold snaps in February and sometimes even in March.
