And what if someone shows up with a knife on a college campus to scare people and the cops in order to get shot, will they more often than not succeed?

The thing that’s the worst about this method is because it either works or it doesn’t. And the consequences are too severe. I literally would only recommend this option unless you really can’t do anything else.

This is a bad method, not worth the pain if you survive. My idea, though painful, is finding an isolated and quiet secure area, stabbing your self with a knife, and letting yourself bleed out.
