I've got a baseball bat. I want to use it on something that feels like a person, without infringing on someone's property rights or other legal issues. I've no means of getting dead animals very easily, so are there any other good solutions?

Bags of sand maybe? Hang them up and beat them to death.
I don't really get the satisfying crunch of bones or impact of flesh from that. A good suggestion, though, thank you.
