Strange how left-wingers seem to rant about people on the right more than the inverse

Like... they bring up their politicians so much and I say nothing and then I mention a right-wing politician and they get pretty intense!

I guess this is just baked into their ideology for some reason. Their very high intolerance towards the right-wing. It just always surprises me how skewed it is even among people who aren't especially political.
