One of the users just got doxxed because he had poor OPSEC. I hope the university does not take action.

I'm a software developer, and I have a professional life like the university student as well as described in the post.

Here are few tricks:

1. Separate your photos

Make sure you never use the same pictures on incel space, professional space, and social media space. All of them must be seperated. That goes for selfies and non selfies alike.

2. If possible, seperate the emails as well

Some social media, like Facebook, used to be reverse searchable through phone number or email.

3. Seperate the names

Names are probably the easiest way to dox you. Here's my recommendation.
LinkedIn: John Johnson
Instagram: j.gaming123
Incel: ikillfoids1488

DO NOT MENTION YOUR USER BETWEEN PLATFORMS

Never link your linkedin through social media and vice versa. For incel layer it is obvious.

4. Make your social media profile followers only and have a profile picture that is not used elsewhere. For example, Instagram.

5. Remove trackers on sharing links
I notice lots of you don't remove the sl tag on the YouTube url. This goes for other platforms that share your information on the share urls as well.

6. When sharing details, obtuse a bit. Don't say you're 22, say you're early 20s.

Remember that there are two types of evidences, one is direct evidence and another support evidence.

Direct evidence: you are jewkiller1488 on different platforms
Support evidence: you say you are software developer, which matches with your linkedin profession and incels.is comments.

water tbh, at least if you wanna share personal stuff do it with people you trust or in private conversations that are away from prying eyes.

Sharing personal stuff is okay. But it would be stupid to share stuff that can directly identify you on a professional platform like Linkedin

The most important part is separation of link. You'd be surprised at how many stuff chatGPT can dig up on you here. I believe it's impossible to completely not share anything. The key is to make sure no one can link it back to your linkedin or social media (JFL if you directly travel from linkedin to incel layer)

yeah obviously don't be a retard and paste your linkedin profile. It's also a good idea to private all of your social medias and create alternative accounts to compartmentalize your identity or just be like me and not use these services at all if you don't need to.

Ngl over for me, I overshare far too much on this site. Though it was only really obscure stuff… I don’t think I even have posts that are even bad enough to be reported though

I post hate comments on Instagram sometimes, so follower only is self explain and none of my colleagues know my professionsl or social media profiles.

Also jfl he had his irl name on his instagram, people should never link stuff on an account linked to their irl.

anonymity is fucking law tbh i kinda regret even sharing that info alone

I too regret sharing too much info about my life. When I first joined, I was naive and thought people wouldn’t care about me, but I was wrong.

It's fine. As long you don't include bday. Even if you shared bday, there are factors such as time zone which could obtuse details. Link is the most important OPSEC out of them all.

That's how he got caught if I am not mistaken, he forgot to remove the igsh tag when sending a reel

I was the target of a few people looking to dox me for my posts I made about Ado a while back. That alone made me seriously reconsider my OPSEC. Honestly, the number one thing I'd suggest people to do is to get burner emails, or email aliases. Also, don't forget that you're likely on tons of broker sites, and your information is literally just plastered there for anyone to buy.

I'm not sure if those services that you can pay to legally have speak on your behalf and ask for the information to be removed from these websites, actually work or not, but if it does, you best believe I'm signing up for one of those.

Doxxing is just people trying to piece together information you've given, and trying to line it up with someone who they think you could be. Occasionally lie, omit things, so on and so forth. If you're really committed, make fake pages and trails for people to fall into.

I’ve said too much………..

I recommend people to look up users on this site with ChatGPT. You'd be surprised at how much info and how fast AI can gather off you. I believe it's impossible to truly be anonymous when it comes to what you share. The most defensive method still is separating of alias between platforms
