normies love to spout some bs about stoicism,
with the almost universal sentiment that "anything is possible", and that in order to to see the fruits of your labour you must struggle and "embrace the pain".
stoicism is the implementation of naturalistic ethics, logos and monistic physics
the real essence,is that which you cannot change 'logos' the soft fate or a universal
order.a compatibilist worldview leaning towards determinism-

p1)there exists internal and external
things
p2)the mind( according to the stoics) is internal and controllable
p3) what is internal ls hence there proper object of value

the last part of p1 is effectively non existent in culture, almost as if the mind subconsciously blanks it out. ironically logos (along with virtue) is also the most important part of stoicism in achieving "eudamonia" . Anyway thats about it,would love to hear your thoughts.

apologies for the shitty punctuation and grammar

Normies don’t at all have this view anymore in Britain. Nowadays they’re soft retards and if you say that experiencing the pain develops you they will be like “ugh inkwell you’re a right wing extremist. Are you saying ‘good times create weak men hard times create strong men’? That’s so toxic you chud. I’m phoning the police!”

the culture is quite prevalent amongst the youth where i live

You must live in a better country than Britain because hERe literally nobody thinks that. If you dare suggest that hardship builds character normies are like “that’s so problematic. You are clearly a Nazi”.
