Serious Stepped on a nail today

Was helping my family members move some junk around and in the process i stepped on a nail

Now I am all paranoid about getting tetanus

I know just because I stepped on a nail doesn’t equal a tetanus infection but there was a lot of dust and shit that could of been infected with the bacteria. Like the room was super dirty and dusty.

Also what freaks me out is the The incubation period could take up to 20 days.

But yeah I fucking hate stupid ass germs.

So if I stop posting I might have died from tetanus

Have you gone to the hospital? Just in case, you might need to get a TAT injection. You can also use hydrogen peroxide to clean the wound, removing rust, dust and other dirt.

You have to got a tetanus vaccine each ten years

You can get the tetanus shot a couple of days after getting infected and it will still be effective, so it would be wise to do that. Tetanus is one of the worst ways to go and it has like a 50/50 survivability so I would not risk it
